What does a transportation planning manager do?

A Transportation Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of transportation systems and policies within a city, region, or organization. They analyze traffic patterns, forecast future transportation needs, and collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions that improve mobility and safety. Their work often involves managing projects, securing funding, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and stakeholder communication skills set exceptional candidates apart.
