Job description

Position Summary:

The Marketing Client Service Manager (Marketing CSM) is responsible for supporting the marketing and servicing functions for Commercial Lines Transportation accounts.ย  This role assists with account setup, processing requests, maintaining documentation, coordinating with carriers and clients, and supporting the marketing team throughout the account lifecycle.ย  The Marketing CSM works closely with Producers, Account Executives, Marketing staff and carrier partners to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.

Work Performed

  • Support the servicing and marketing of transportation accounts, including account setup, documentation, endorsements and day-to-day servicing activities
  • Process certificate requests, MVR requests, loss run request, IFTA requests and auto ID requests
  • Assist with direct billed endorsements and follow up with carriers and insureds regarding outstanding information or missing endorsements
  • Coordinate cancellation notices and communicate with clients regarding policy servicing matters
  • Assist with current account quoting activities, including adding vehicles, drivers and related policy changes
  • Set up new accounts within agency management systems and prepare files for marketing review
  • Review and qualify new business submissions prior to assignment to marketing staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation and activities within the agency management system (Epic)
  • Scan and organize incoming documents and correspondence
  • Send policy copies, insurance documents and related materials to clients as requested
  • Order office and department supplies as needed
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, carriers and internal team members

Job Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required, or must obtain within 30 days of employment)
  • Excellent communication, customer service and relationship management abilities
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Ability to follow established workflows and procedures with a high degree of accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Experience with commercial lines insurance or transportation insurance is preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with agency workflows and management systems (e.g., Applied Epic) is a plus
  • Understanding of transportation accounts and related servicing activities is preferred
