Job Summary

We are seeking a Commercial Transportation Insurance Operations Manager to join our growing Commercial Insurance Transportation team.

The Manager role contributes to the overall health and success of the organization by executing operational strategies and strengthening processes and procedures that drive service excellence, business performance, and exceptional client and colleague experiences. This role serves as a champion of Acrisure's performance culture, operational excellence, and client-focused values.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement operational strategies, process improvements, and workflow enhancements that drive efficiency, scalability, and service quality.

  • Develop, coach, and engage team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and client-focused service.

  • Monitor operational performance through KPIs, dashboards, and business metrics to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Manage operational resources, workforce planning, budgets, and expenses to support business objectives and financial performance.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and operational best practices while identifying and mitigating potential risks.

  • Support client retention and business growth initiatives through exceptional service delivery and resolution of complex client issues.

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to align operational priorities, improve business outcomes, and support organizational growth.

  • Champion process optimization, automation, and technology adoption initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and scalability.

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.

  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.

  • Strong business judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.

  • Analyze performance metrics and leverage data to improve operational results. Strong understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive factors.

  • Demonstrated success delivering exceptional client and colleague experiences.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Commercial insurance, financial services, professional services, or a related industry. Experience in Commercial Insurance Transportation is highly preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing teams, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and talent development.

  • Experience overseeing operational resources, workforce planning, and budget management.

  • Experience supporting business development, client retention, and growth initiatives.

  • Relevant industry licenses, certifications, or designations highly preferred.
