The Transportation Analyst works closely with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain and The Hitch to provide timely consulting on freight cost estimates. The partner supports freight analysis for multiple areas of the business, leads Transportation related initiatives, and is a backup administrator for E2open Transportation Management System. This partner also develops freight reports and analysis on cost, carrier performance, systems optimization and dedicated fleets.

This role offers a flexible hybrid work schedule (Monday-Friday) located at our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The hybrid work schedule is 3 days/week onsite at Home Office and 2 days/week from home.

What you'll do:

  • Work cross functionally with Sales, Customer Service, The Hitch and PLS to provide freight estimates and proactive analysis
  • Represent Transportation as a process owner and/or performer in customer onboarding and process developments/enhancements
  • Understand carrier rates, transportation industry and Schreiber customer pricing processes
  • Work to create a ship to database to assist with providing costing to certain regions and locations
  • Responsible for providing support within E2open Transportation Management System
  • Provide load planning support to Transportation department as needed
  • Support team in data collection and analysis in support of both procurement events and business planning

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelors in Supply Chain, Finance, Business or related field
  • 3-7 years of experience in Transportation, Finance, Customer Service or Sales
  • Solid understanding of E2open Transportation Management System
  • Strong Financial Acumen and analytical skills specifically associated with both the pricing and the costing of freight
  • Self-motivated, willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Strong interpersonal skills, tenacity and ability to drive change across the organization
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to travel up to 5%
