What you will do

The Packaging/Business Control intern will assist with a variety of task-oriented work with the Packaging and Business Control team, including, but not limited to, improving existing processes, performing statistical analysis, and assisting in data pre-processing/cleansing.
Main areas of responsibility include:

  • Work with the North America Packaging team to identify opportunities to optimize performance within the Distribution and Inventory Control processes
  • Assist the North America Packaging and Business Control teams with operational project activities in support of Packaging/Business Control operations
  • Work on business intelligence projects and data preparation
  • Interact with different departments as needed to facilitate meetings, ask questions, document findings, and perform follow-ups
  • Out-of-the-box thinking for business requirements with good analytical skills
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Data Analytics/Statistics. Your degree must be at an accredited school, and you need to have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship.
  • Must be either a Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student at the start of your internship
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher
  • To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
  • Fall Interns may work up to 30 hours per week and must be enrolled as a student

  • Works well within a team environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and other data visualization tools is a plus
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a dynamic environment
