What is a transport intern?

Transport Interns are entry-level professionals who assist in the planning, coordination, and management of transportation and logistics operations within an organization. Their responsibilities may include collecting and analyzing transportation data, preparing reports, supporting logistics projects, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Transport Interns often work under the supervision of experienced staff, gaining hands-on experience in the transportation industry to prepare for full-time roles in logistics, supply chain, or transport management.

As a Transport Intern, you can expect to work on tasks such as assisting with route planning, data analysis for optimizing transportation logistics, and supporting the coordination of shipments or deliveries. Interns often collaborate with experienced transport coordinators and logistics managers, gaining hands-on experience with industry software and real-world problem-solving.
