At Appleseed Community Mental Health Center, Inc., we support individuals and families on their journey to live healthy, whole, and productive lives. We provide comprehensive services in behavioral health, housing, outreach & prevention, substance use disorder, and victim services. To assist in this mission, Appleseed is seeking to fill multiple part-time Transportation Specialist positions (up to 29 hours per week). Using the agency van, the Transportation Specialist will provide on-call transportation services for clients to/from counseling, therapeutic and support groups, or other essential appointments.
This position is ideal for people of all ages and backgrounds, and no previous professional driving experience is required.
Requirements
  • Positive attitude and motivation to provide excellent customer service
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Maintain personal liability driving insurance
  • Pass a background check, driving record check, and drug test

Shifts & Compensation
Transportation Specialist shifts are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. You can sign up for 4, 8, or 12-hour on-call shifts. Specialists will receive a stipend when on-call, plus an additional hourly rate for transportation services provided.
