ABOUT THE POSITION

The Assistant Transloading Operator position supports daily site operations in Ulysses, Kansas. This is a full-time, year-round position designed to provide operational support, backup coverage, and development opportunities within the transloading facility. A description of the duties includes:

  • Assist with daily operational tasks including loading and unloading railcars and trucks carrying greases, fats, and oils for use in the biodiesel and feed markets.
  • Assist with operating and monitoring equipment and support start-up, operation, and shut-down processes.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, truck drivers, vendors, rail personnel, and management to support efficient operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior experience in operations, transloading, logistics, manufacturing, agriculture, energy, or industrial environments is a plus.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
