Position Overview

Client is seeking an experienced Heavy Haul Transportation Quoting Specialist to join our growing team. This position is responsible for analyzing, pricing, and coordinating complex heavy haul, oversized, overweight, flatbed, project cargo, and specialized transportation opportunities throughout North America.
The ideal candidate understands transportation operations, trailer capabilities, permitting requirements, route restrictions, project logistics, and the urgency required to support customers in industries such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, Construction, Infrastructure, and Industrial Projects. Heavy haul quoting requires detailed planning, equipment knowledge, and an understanding of permits, escorts, routing, and specialized transportation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for:
    • Heavy haul shipments
    • Oversized and overweight freight
    • Flatbed and open deck transportation
    • Project cargo
    • Specialized transportation solutions
    • Transloading, storage, and crane-related projects
  • Review customer requests and determine:
    • Proper trailer selection
    • Routing requirements

    • Additional project costs
  • Analyze dimensions, weights, commodity details, and customer requirements to develop transportation solutions.
  • Coordinate with operations, dispatch, sales, permit companies, escort providers, and vendors to build complete project pricing.
  • Review project specifications, packing lists, engineering drawings, and customer documentation.
  • Calculate transportation costs including:
    • Truck costs

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in one or more of the following:
