Overall Job Purpose: To perform diverse warehouse job functions to support the operating efficiency of Sufco Mine.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Receive, stock and inventory all incoming parts and supplies
  • Unload freight using forklifts
  • Enter & retrieve information from SAP Computer Database
  • Process receiving paperwork
  • Issue parts and supplies
  • Other surface related tasks, such as parts cycle counts, cleaning and organizing as necessary
  • Rotating seven-day work schedule
  • Periodic overtime required
  • Must support safety objectives and always demonstrate safe practices and behavior
  • Ability to function with minimal supervision

Education, Experience, & Physical Demands:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Computer Data Entry Skills are required (excel, word). SAP system function and application will be considered a plus.
  • Capable of operating equipment safely and efficiently
  • Basic understanding of cost control and management
  • General knowledge of mining equipment, parts and tools is preferred
  • Capable of repeatedly lifting 50 lbs. chest high
  • Possess valid driver's license

Position Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Sufco Mining Operation
Sufco mine is located in Sevier County, Utah approximately 30 miles northeast of Salina and 125 miles south of Salt Lake City. Sufco employs approximately 425 individuals and operates a longwall and three continuous miner sections. The mine produces 3.5 to 4.0 million tons per year of high BTU, low sulfur coal. Sufco is truck served with ability to reach local and international markets via access to local rail transloading facilities.
