Yard Flex Driver In Training

The Yard Flex role is a Driver in Training that starts as a Yard Laborer in our outdoor operation, responsible for flexing around the yard during the grain loading process. Primary responsibilities include installing bulkhead prior loading, maintaining bulkhead supplies in the loading area, keeping the floor scale clear for accuracy and general upkeep of the loading area during loading operations each day. This is a great opportunity to train as a Yard Driver (Spotter) role!

START TIME IS 6:30am. This is a full-time position with full benefits and consistent overtime. Shift ends after all trucks are unloaded, typically between 3:30pm-5:00pm. Monday through Friday, occasional weekend hours.

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to enter the yard in a vehicle for safety reasons

• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and able to work in and tolerate a dusty environment.

• Must be able to lift bulkhead materials, maintain/load bulkheads supplies, and flex around the yard to support the loading needs.

• Dependable to start early and work full time with flexibility to work overtime hours.

• Will be expected to follow safety policies and procedures at all times.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with drug free workplace policy.

• Knowledge of basic data entry skills and able to use mobile apps.

• Good interpersonal communication skills to work as part of a small team.

• Strong work ethic, dependable for early start time, able to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with consistent attendance.

• Must be able to physically climb up and down transloading equipment and ladders safely.

• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, and maintain balance throughout the day.

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

• Ability to carry fifty (50) pounds.

GED preferred.

Must have an active, valid driver's license (Class D)

Outdoor work experience preferred

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally), stock bulkhead supplies, reach and place bulkhead in back of containers, sweep/clear off floor scale, work in a dusty outdoor yard.
