Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
  • Program & Portfolio Delivery
    • Leads the delivery of multiple, interdependent digital projects under a defined program structure, ensuring alignment to scope, budget, schedule, quality, and business outcomes.
    • Establishes and maintains program governance, including integrated schedules, financial forecasting, risk management, and change control.
    • Ensures consistent application of Worley Consulting Digital delivery standards across all projects within the program.
    • Provides consolidated program reporting and executive-level insights to Digital and regional leadership.
  • Commercial & Financial Accountability
    • Accountable for program-level P&L performance, including revenue realization, margin management, forecasting, and cash flow.
    • Oversees execution across multiple contract types and commercial risk profiles (Lump Sum, Fixed Price, Target Price, Reimbursable).
    • Manages contractual and commercial escalations in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams.
    • Identifies opportunities to expand digital scope, grow existing engagements, and support pull-through work across the Americas portfolio.
  • People Leadership & Capability Development
    • Directly manages Project Managers and senior delivery practitioners within the program.
    • Provides coaching, mentoring, and performance management to build a strong, scalable digital delivery organization.
    • Supports succession planning and capability development aligned to Digital growth priorities.
    • Promotes a high-performance culture focused on safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Serves as the senior escalation and governance contact for program-level client relationships.
    • Builds trusted advisor relationships with client leadership, ensuring alignment between digital solutions and business value.
    • Works closely with Digital Practice, Worley Consulting & Base Business leaders to deliver integrated digital and engineering solutions.
    • Supports the development of high-quality proposals, bids, and client presentations for digital programs.
  • PMO & Operational Excellence
    • Actively contributes to the Worley Consulting Digital PMO through governance leadership, process improvement, and standardization.
    • Drives adoption of best practices in program and project management, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery models.
    • Shares lessons learned and supports continuous improvement across the Americas Digital delivery community.
  • Travel as required for various field programs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation & Controls, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Project Management certification like PMP is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience delivering complex projects and programs within digital, automation, or industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing direct reports, including Project Managers and senior professionals.
  • Proven success leading large, multi-project programs with significant commercial, technical, and delivery risk.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience across a range of contracting and risk models.
  • Experience delivering digital programs using Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Experience working within an owner organization executing large complex technology projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage portfolios across multiple clients and geographies.
  • Strong executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Motivational, inclusive leadership style with the ability to build high-performing teams.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Renewables, and/or Mining is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable working with globally distributed teams across office and remote environments.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
  • Must be located or willing to regularly commute to a primary Americas Digital hub (e.g., Houston, TX, or equivalent).

Additional Information:
  • The Program Manager is a senior leadership role within Worley Consulting Digital - Americas, accountable for the successful delivery of large, complex digital programs spanning multiple projects, clients, and geographies across Canada, the United States, and LATAM.
  • Reporting to the Director, Business Operations & Execution, this role provides strategic, commercial, and operational leadership across a portfolio of digital initiatives supporting Worley's energy, chemicals, mining, and resources clients. Programs typically include digital transformation, advanced automation, data & analytics, operational technology, and systems integration delivered in close collaboration with Worley's Base Business.
  • The Program Manager is responsible not only for delivery excellence, but also for program-level financial performance, client value realization, and talent leadership. This includes direct management of Project Managers and senior delivery leads, strengthening PMO governance, and driving consistent execution standards across the Americas Digital portfolio.
  • Success in this role requires the ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels-balancing client engagement, commercial oversight, people leadership, and disciplined delivery-while enabling sustainable growth and long-term client partnerships for Worley Consulting Digital.
