Required Education: BS/BA degree
Required Experience: 12 years relevant experience (an additional 4 years' experience may be substituted in lieu of degree).
Position Description:
PingWind is seeking a Program Manager who will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects within the government sector. This role involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and managing project resources to meet contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in program management, a strong understanding of government contracting processes, and a technical background in IT.
Primary Responsibilities:
Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:
• Provides overall leadership and management of all MODES III activities, ensuring full compliance with PWS requirements
• Serves as the primary interface with the AAS CO, AAS COR, MC&FP TPOC, and Government stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, timely issue resolution, and alignment with Government priorities.
• Directs program planning and execution, including staffing, task intake and tracking through MTAR, schedule coordination, risk and issue management, and delivery of all required program deliverables.
• Oversees preparation and delivery of program reporting, including Weekly Status Reports (WSRs), Monthly Status Reports (MSRs), Topline Reports, technical documentation, and ad hoc Government-requested reports.
• Leads and chairs Weekly Status Meetings and Technical Status Meetings, ensuring informed decision-making, transparency, and effective coordination across functional teams.
• Establishes, maintains, and executes the Project Management Plan (PMP), Quality Management Plan (QMP), dashboard management approach, and associated SOPs, ensuring consistent and repeatable program execution.
• Ensures implementation and sustainment of task dashboards providing real-time visibility into Task 2 and Task 3 activities, metrics, and performance in accordance with PWS.
• Directs transition activities, including Transition-In and Transition-Out planning and execution, ensuring continuity of operations and minimal disruption to Government missions.
• Fulfills Key Personnel requirements defined in H.3.1, including demonstrated senior-level experience managing complex Federal or DoD programs of similar scope, scale, and complexity.
• Maintains required professional certifications consistent with H.3.1 expectations, such as PMP or equivalent, and applies best practices in program governance, risk management, and performance oversight.
• Provides leadership, mentorship, and oversight to program staff, ensuring accountability, performance excellence, and adherence to contractual and Government standards.
Required Qualifications
• Must possess a Secret Clearance
• Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
