Communications Lead

Transformation Church | Indian Land, SC

Reports To: Director
FLSA Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Transformation Church is seeking a Communications Lead to help strengthen and steward communication, marketing, and engagement efforts as we continue to grow and expand our impact.

About the Role

The Communications Lead serves as a strategic communications generalist responsible for helping coordinate and execute church-wide communication and marketing initiatives across ministries and platforms. This role focuses on communication strategy, messaging alignment, campaign coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to help ensure communication is clear, organized, effective, and aligned with the vision and values of Transformation Church.

This individual will partner closely with ministry leaders and teams to help support organizational communication efforts, strengthen engagement, and maintain consistency in messaging and brand voice across the church.

This role is ideal for a collaborative, adaptable, and strategic communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments, manages multiple priorities with excellence, and enjoys contributing across a variety of communication areas.

What Youll Do
  • Help execute church-wide communication, marketing, and engagement strategies
  • Partner with ministry teams to develop communication plans and promotional strategies
  • Coordinate messaging and communication efforts across ministries and platforms
  • Write, edit, and proofread communication content across digital and print platforms
  • Collaborate with ministry teams to support campaigns, storytelling, and organizational communication initiatives
  • Help maintain communication calendars, workflows, and project coordination
  • Support brand consistency and messaging alignment across communication channels
  • Assist with weekend experiences and major church-wide initiatives as needed
  • Supervise Communications Team and Volunteers
What Were Looking For
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with communications, marketing, project coordination, or related creative work
  • Excellent organization and project management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities with excellence and flexibility
  • A collaborative, proactive, and strategic team player
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Asana, or related tools preferred
