About the Role:
The Program Manager is a member of the Program Team and is responsible for the statewide planning, development, implementation, and quality oversight of NAMI Delawares mental health programs and community-based initiatives. This role advances NAMI Delawares mission to improve the quality of life for individuals and families affected by mental health conditions throughout Delaware. Key responsibilities include supporting program delivery for Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) efforts, NAMI education and support programs, and the HelpLine. The Program Manager also oversees interns and volunteers, cultivates relationships with community partners, maintains accurate program records and reporting, and helps ensure services are responsive, effective, and aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of mental health programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with community partners to enhance program effectiveness and outreach.
  • Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
  • Evaluate program outcomes and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Lead training sessions and workshops to educate the community about mental health.
  • Act as a liaison between NAMI Delaware and external organizations.
  • Support advocacy efforts to promote mental health legislation and policies.
  • Facilitate meetings and coordinate activities among team members and volunteers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management or community outreach.
  • Strong understanding of mental health issues and resources.
  • Prior NAMI experience preferred
  • Bilingual is helpful but not required.
  • Must have MS Office skills ( Word, PPT, and Excel)
