Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Operations Training Specialist located in Fontana, CA.
Reporting to the Operations Training Manager, the Operations Training Specialist is responsible for overseeing learning and development programs for the site. This includes coordination and training delivery to assigned groups within operations, as well as provides ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure associates have the necessary skills to meet the requirements of their position.
What a typical day looks like:
  • Oversee all training activities across the facility
  • Facilities and delivers new hire training and other training programs to assigned client groups.
  • Coordinate daily training assignments and schedules with production leadership
  • Manage site training documentation, training matrix updates, and record accuracy
  • Prepares training packages as and when required by the respective projects
  • Lead and coach SME trainers on the floor to ensure accurate, consistent training delivery
  • Prepare and publish training calendar, training co-ordination and logistics.
  • Monitors and follows-up certification and re-certification activities for multiple disciplines (EHS, Quality, etc.)
  • Collect training performance feedback and report site needs back to the Training Manager
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent related experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience supporting training in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment
  • Demonstrates skills in teaching, guiding, and mentoring.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
