Clinical Manager -Sports Medicine & Athletic Training

Location:Onalaska, WI
FTE:1.0 (Full-Time, Salaried)
Department:Sports Medicine

Emplify Health by Gundersen Health System is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Clinical Managerto lead operations within Sports Medicine & Athletic Training in Onalaska, WI. This role offers the opportunity to manage high-performing teams and support strategic growth across several subspecialties.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide management and clinical expertise to the Outreach Athletic Trainers and oversee the delivery of specialized clinical services throughout Sports Medicine.

  • Oversee a team of approximately 27direct reports, including Athletic Trainers, Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, Department Secretary.

  • Collaborate closely with fellow Clinic Managers, Clinical Operations Director, and Medical Director to achieve unit goals.

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, staff development, and high-quality patient care.

  • Participate in strategic planning and change facilitation, including competency development and cross-coverage coordination.
