We are looking for aBusiness Development Representativeto help support our continued growth. This position is onsite based out of ourLexington, KYoffice. A successful candidate will have a results-oriented demeanor, the ability to multi-task in a rapidly-changing work environment, strong communication skills, and proficiency at regularly attaining KPIs by adhering to a detailed and repeatable lead development process.

Responsibilities
  • Drive outbound lead generation activities through rigorous outbound call and email campaigns.
  • Manage inbound business development efforts to identify and qualify leads
  • Engage with executive-level buyers and prospects to grow our Coastal Cloud brand
  • Unearth net new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships
  • Partner with the Marketing team to develop new inbound channels for lead generation and execute
  • Prospect outbound channels for strategic new logos in alignment with Coastal Cloudโ€™s target customer
  • Enrich prospective clients with quality-focused research by leveraging complementary technology and tools
  • Ability to adhere to qualification methodologies to produce Sales Qualified Leads and transition to the appropriate Coastal teams
  • Reach and exceed key performance indicators including speed to lead, meetings booked, lead conversions, and influenced closed won opportunities
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and network to drive the best solutions forward to customers
  • Travel as needed to support the sales cycles to close business
Required Skills, Education and Experience
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Representative, or similar position in a sales/consulting role or internship; more than one (1) year meeting or exceeding quota
  • Proven Portfolio Growth โ€“ you will be responsible for growing our Coastal Cloud presence across multiple targets by generating, shaping, and capturing leads
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility for, and actively drive sales pursuits and responses
  • Consultative mindset and a dedication to learning in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with using Technology: Salesforce, Zoominfo, LinkedIn
  • Knowledge and experience in numerous industries
  • Excellent communication, preparation, strategy, presentation, and execution skills
  • Ability to โ€œproject manageโ€ a sales cycle by collaboratively leading and working with other key internal groups โ€“ pre-sales, delivery, SME and industry professionals
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Enthusiastic and passionate, ability to work on a cohesive team
  • Ability to be onsite in our Lexington Office regularly
  • Must have fullโ€‘time permanent US work authorization
Additional Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the Salesforce Ecosystem preferred
  • Salesforce Associate and/or Administrator Certification Preferred (upon hire or to be obtained within 6 months)
  • Understanding of and relationships within the Salesforce portfolio along with newly acquired solutions such as Mulesoft, Tableau, Slack, etc.
