POSITION DESCRIPTION

If you are an experienced, world class Coach who loves the fitness industry & can step in as the top coach at a franchise location for one of the fastest growing fitness franchises in the United States...this coaching position at D1 Training is for you!

THIS IS NOT an entry level position. This "Strength & Conditioning Coach" should have the ability to step in on day 1 and work with any client we throw at them. Whether it is Tim Tebow, a professional sports bound college athlete, a 40 year old mother trying to get fit, or a 7 year old athlete training for the first time...this coach should live for stepping on the turf & helping these athletes accomplish their goals.

You must have world class character & align with our core values. Here at D1 Training we work hard & play hard. You must show up every single day ready to have fun with high energy. If you don’t bring the juice, or are up & down day to day, you won’t make it on this high performance team. We have classes for 7-11 year olds, 12-14 year olds, 15-18 year olds, & adults. We have one on one clients doing personal training & these athletes range from 7 years old beginner to elite athlete. You can’t have an ego around who you work with & must LOVE coaching everyone.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science (Master's Preferred)
  • CPT and CSCS
  • Sales/business management experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience coaching in both a group and personal training setting
EXPECTATIONS
  • Lead a team of coaches by example - bring the energy, passion, and excitement that you want to see in your team
  • Coach with expertise both group fitness and personal training clients
  • Execute membership sales/upgrades
  • Prevent attrition among members by having regular goal-setting meetings and check-ins, and assist the general manager with member retention
  • Participate in regular meetings with the general manager and coaches to set goals and track facility progress
  • Be an integral part of the D1 community and represent the brand both in and outside the facility
  • Work 40 hours a week
COMPENSATION

This is a full-time position with a base salary + strong commission/bonus structure
