Training Program Developer and Implementor

Location: Tucson, AZ- Onsite

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Training Program Developer to design, implement, and maintain training programs that support our manufacturing operations. This role will help standardize employee skills, improve operational performance, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and promote continuous learning throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging training programs for manufacturing employees using classroom, hands-on, and on-the-job instruction.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and performance improvement opportunities.
  • Create and update training materials, job aids, SOPs, and learning resources.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Partner with production, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and other applicable standards.
  • Maintain training records and provide reporting on training activities and effectiveness.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and integrate new training technologies when appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of training development and delivery experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in flexible packaging, printing, or converting is strongly preferred.
  • Strong instructional design, technical writing, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and training or learning management software.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and manufacturing quality systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
  • Instructional design or training certification (ATD, CPTD, etc.).
  • Experience developing blended learning programs.
