Position Overview
The Child Care Provider/Nanny offers attentive childcare, emotional support, and household assistance for families. This role may include responsibilities typically associated with Nannies, Mothers Helpers, Babysitters, Child Development Assistants, and Providers.
Responsibilities:
Childcare & Daily Routine Support
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of children UNDER 18 at all times
  • Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, and hygiene
  • Prepare meals, snacks, and bottles according to family preferences
  • Support nap schedules, bedtime routines, and bathroom needs (as age-appropriate)
  • Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning, and developmental activities
Learning, Play & Enrichment
  • Provide interactive play, reading time, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities
  • Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Accompany children to activities, playgroups, parks, or appointments
Household & Family Support
  • Perform light housekeeping related to the children (laundry, dishes, toy organization)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
  • Assist with meal planning and simple family meal preparation (if requested)
  • Help with pickups/drop-offs, errands, or grocery shopping
Qualifications Education & Training
  • Childcare training such as CPR/First Aid
