Langan is seeking a Business Development Manager - Texas Region. This professional will serve a key function in researching and developing relationships and opportunities as well as executing effective strategies and tactics to further grow business in the Texas market, which includes but is not limited to: residential, education, data centers, commercial, energy, and more. In this role, you will work collaboratively with Langan's leadership and technical teams to leverage the firm's engineering and environmental expertise directly with prospects and clients. Langan is rapidly growing in the Texas market and this position presents an exceptional career growth opportunity.
Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborates with regional leadership to develop strategic initiatives;
  • Leverages experience with key regional and national clients;
  • Identifies and assesses Texas market trends and potential opportunities;
  • Partners with Texas practice leadership in the preparation of project proposals, statements of qualifications, requests for quotations and pricing, and other marketing collateral from concept through completion;
  • Leads business development agenda during operational meetings to coordinate events, business development opportunities and proposals;
  • Coordinates, tracks and supports the firm's Texas business development/marketing activities;
  • Attends networking events on behalf of the firm; and
  • Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field;
  • 10+ years of related business development and marketing, experience within the Texas market;
  • Strong familiarity within the Texas A/E/C market sector;
  • Demonstrated experience with supervision and creation of multi-disciplinary proposals;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Adobe Acrobat/Reader;
  • Active participation in applicable energy professional organizations;
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and excellent editing skills;
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities;
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment with multiple deadlines; and
  • Ability to travel to networking events, tradeshows, and branch offices across the state of Texas at least twice per month.
