Commercial Appliance Service Technician
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 Full-time
We're seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team! Want to drive a company van home and represent a team that values you as more than just a number? We're looking for someone who's ready to be the face of our company -- a true ambassador and service hero for our customers. Become part of a growing team where your skills are appreciated! Once skill levels are achieved, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, dishwashers, refrigeration & more.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair Cooking Equipment
  • Work safely and ethically, be honest and committed in your work
  • Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy and professionalism
  • Complete service calls in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with customers, manager, dispatcher, and sales
  • Participate in normal rotation of after-hours and weekend standby duty
  • Identify new customers and additional opportunities within existing accounts
  • Maintain service vehicle in accordance with recommended service intervals
  • Order Parts and Complete Required Paperwork completely
  • Attend remote and in person Training Sessions

Minimum Requirements:
  • Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills
  • Problem solver
  • Strong customer communication skills
  • 100% dedication to working hard, being on time, and staying organized
  • Computer literacy
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
  • Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
  • Must be at least 18 yrs of age
  • We will train for job specific repairs and equipment

Desired Characteristics:
  • Two years of cooking equipment service (or related military) experience
  • Refrigeration/ HVAC experience
  • EPA 608 Certification
  • CFESA Certification and Factory training
