Role Overview

We are seeking a Motion Capture Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle of OptiTrack's products such as plugins and core software. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, design, and customer experience, translating real-world user needs into innovative motion capture solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product vision, prioritize features, and deliver best-in-class motion tracking systems to a diverse and global customer base.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute product strategy for motion capture systems, including cameras, software, and integrations.

Gather and synthesize customer feedback from industries such as gaming, film, sports science, and robotics.

Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality product releases.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.

Partner with marketing and sales teams to support product launches and positioning.

Develop clear product requirements, user stories, and success metrics.

Monitor product performance and iterate based on data-driven insights.

Make 3D games and experiences to showcase our technology in practical user workflows.

Make video content to help exposit key features or workflows.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with motion capture, computer vision, AR/VR, or 3D tracking technologies.
  • Background in animation, game development, virtual production, biomechanics, or robotics.
  • 1-7+ years of experience managing the quality of product deliverables or direct product management for technical products.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to work closely with engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly solutions.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with a variety of motion capture systems or related tools.
  • Understanding of real-time data processing and visualization.
  • Prior experience in B2B product environments.
  • Experience creating video games or digital experiences.
  • 3D Modeling or other computer graphics skills.
