Job description

The is a business to business sales role with Diamond Dotz!ย Youโ€™re going to be talking to customers. A lot. Youโ€™ll sort out their issues and leave them delighted, because youโ€™re brilliant at customer service and have a keen eye for seeking out sales opportunities.

Building relationships with new and existing stakeholders will be key. Some leads are provided, however prospecting for new business will be central to the role โ€“ at least in the beginning.

Youโ€™ll get a great understanding of our products and pitch them to new and existing buyers. Youโ€™ll bring out the benefit of our products and be comfortable presenting them to anyone from senior execs, small business owners and to junior buyers.

You will attend trade shows and identify opportunities to promote the brand and its products.

Ultimately, the role is about taking orders and growing market share.

Coordinating sales with internal staff and marketing.

Salesperson Duties and Responsibilities

ยท Generate and qualify leads via phone and email

ยท Schedule product presentations

ยท Promote products/services to new and existing customers

ยท Champion new marketing/sales collateral and suggest promotions

ยท Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of new and existing customers

ยท Close sales by means of excellent customer service and salesmanship

ยท Develop strategies for more effective sales closing, share with team

ยท Maintain positive business and customer relationships to prolong customer lifetime value

ยท Prioritize and/or escalate client questions and concerns to increase client satisfaction

ยท Source and develop client referrals

ยท Track personal appointments, status reports, and sales

ยท Meet or exceed monthly sales goals

ยท Continuously improve through feedback

Salesperson Requirements and Qualifications

ยท 5+ years experience

ยท Experience in consumer products will be looked upon favorably

ยท Experience in the toy or craft will be looked upon favorably

ยท Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written

ยท Aptitude for negotiation and persuasion

ยท Highly motivated, determined, and target driven

ยท Proven track record in the sales environment

ยท Ability to meet and exceed monthly sales quota

ยท Ability to create and deliver client presentations

ยท Expert in time management and personal organization

ยท Familiarity with CRM best practices

ยท Bachelor's degree preferred but may accept relevant experience
