Job description

Loomey's Toys is an independently owned specialty toy shop bringing the magic of childhood to families through thoughtfully curated toys, books, games, and gifts. We're looking for a warm, dependable Key Holder to join our Laguna Beach team.

Schedule - Two to three days per week

  • Saturday: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM (required)
  • Sunday: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Monday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM (required)
    Approximately 12–20 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the shop independently
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales
  • Merchandise and maintain a beautiful sales floor
  • Restock products and organize back stock
  • Receive and process shipments
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and inviting
  • Support daily operations and help create a fun shopping experience for families

  • Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
  • Friendly and outgoing with excellent customer service skills
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the store
  • Retail experience; key holder experience is a plus
  • Able to lift and move boxes up to 30 lbs
