The General Store - Immediate Toy Clerk Position

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a delightful shopping experience for toy enthusiasts?

The General Store, known for its rich history and commitment to the community, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Toy Clerk to join our team. As a Toy Department Clerk, you will assist customers in finding the perfect toys, offer add-on sales, and ensure a clean and organized department. Join us in delivering outstanding service and maintaining a safe and enjoyable shopping environment for all.

General Summary

  • Provide excellent customer service by guiding customers to their desired products
  • Assist in stocking, pricing, and maintaining a well-organized department
  • Ensure a positive and safe work environment for all associates
  • Offer feedback on inventory levels to enhance department profitability

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively assist customers and solve their problems
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge and provide guidance on products
  • Keep track of merchandise and ensure the department is well recovered
  • Assist with online orders and provide support in store operations
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure environment

Qualifications

  • High School or GED equivalent required
  • Previous retail experience desired
  • Product knowledge of trading cards and trading card games a plus.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., and climb

Pay Rate: $17.13 hourly.
