Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Spare Parts Buyer to manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for site operations. The successful candidate will ensure timely availability of quality materials at competitive costs while supporting project schedules and maintaining compliance with company procurement policies.

  • You can procure materials, equipment, and services in accordance with project requirements and timelines.
  • You can prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders in line with approved budgets, MRP outputs and procurement procedures.
  • You can liaise with site engineers, project managers, and warehouse teams to identify material needs and plan procurement activities.
  • You can negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve best value.
  • You can track supplier performance and ensure orders confirmation and on-time delivery to site.
  • You can verify that materials meet required technical, quality, and safety specifications.
  • You can follow up on site inventory levels to avoid shortages, overstocking, or delays.
  • You can expedite as needed orders delivery and shipment via the suppliers and logistics service provider.
  • You can resolve delivery issues, shortages, and invoice discrepancies efficiently.
  • You can support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes.
  • You can serve as first point of escalation for local category issues.
  • You can support the category team as the site representative.
  • You can manage the site’s supplier relationships.
  • You can maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation for audits and cost control.
  • You can ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and relevant regulations.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in site-based procurement, preferably in manufacturing, or project environments.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
  • Good knowledge of procurement systems and MS Office.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
