Job Title: Manager, Total Rewards
Reports To: Senior Director, Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits)
Compensation: $135,000-$165,000 plus bonus
We will determine pay rate based on skills and experience in relation to the function of the role, as well as equity to employees in the same or similar roles.

Job Summary:
The Total Rewards Manager is responsible for implementing and administering the organization's compensation, benefits, leave of absence, wellness, and rewards programs. This role ensures that total rewards strategies support business objectives, attract and retain talent, maintain market competitiveness, and comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
Benefits Administration
  • Oversee health, welfare, retirement, leave, and wellness programs.
  • Manage annual open enrollment activities and employee communications.
  • Partner with brokers, consultants, and vendors to evaluate benefit offerings and costs.
  • Analyze benefits utilization and recommend program enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and other applicable regulations.

Compensation Administration
  • Manage the organization's compensation programs, including salary structures, pay ranges, incentive plans, and bi-annual merit processes.
  • Conduct market pricing and compensation benchmarking analyses.
  • Administer job evaluation and market pricing methodologies.
  • Support leadership and HR teams on compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, and retention requests.
  • Ensure compliance with pay transparency and equal pay laws

Leave Administration
  • Management oversight for the full lifecycle of employee leaves.
  • Ensure leaves are administered in compliance with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), state family and medical leave laws, military leave, personal leave, and company leave programs.
  • Ensure required notices and documentation are provided within statutory deadlines.

Total Rewards Strategy
  • Assist development and execution of total rewards strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging practices in compensation and benefits.
  • Recommend innovative programs to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Support employee recognition and wellness initiatives.

Analytics and Reporting
  • Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for executive leadership.
  • Develop metrics related to compensation competitiveness, benefits utilization, turnover, and employee satisfaction.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting for compensation and benefits expenses.

Compliance and Governance
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Manage compensation audits and support pay equity analyses.
  • Maintain plan documents, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory filings and audits.

Leadership and Collaboration
  • Partner with People Services Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, and Legal teams.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants.
  • Supervise Leave Of Absence Administrator.
  • Provide guidance and training to HR and business leaders on rewards programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of related job experience.
  • Experience managing compensation structures, benefits programs, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics - DayForce experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Required Licenses/Certifications/Registrations:
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBPP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred.
