Job description

An exciting career awaits you
At MPC, we're committed to being a great place to work - one that welcomes new ideas, encourages diverse perspectives, develops our people, and fosters a collaborative team environment.
Position Summary
Our digital organization at MPC is on a mission to deliver trusted, scalable, and high-quality data products that accelerate decision-making across our integrated value chains and enable enterprise transformation. As our data platform and product ecosystem continue to grow, the need for a formal Total Quality Management (TQM) capability has become critical to ensuring consistency, compliance, operational readiness, and long-term trust in our data products at scale.
We are seeking an experienced leader to build and mature a modern TQM function focused on embedding quality, governance, and continuous improvement practices across the full lifecycle of enterprise data products. • Own the best practices, templates, testing strategies, reusable test plans, and validation artifacts required to ensure high-quality, compliant data products across our platforms.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance, Internal Audit, IT Compliance, Data Delivery, and Decision Intelligence to ensure TQM controls are actionable, enforceable, and tightly integrated with governance expectations.
  • Oversee the design, scheduling, and execution of controls, including periodic self-testing, SOX reviews, and compliance monitoring for data products and underlying platforms.
  • Lead cross-functional review forums to assess product quality, identify gaps, validate documentation, and verify adherence to best practices prior to production release or critical lifecycle transitions.
  • Own dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs that measure data product quality, control performance, compliance posture, and continuous improvement progress.
  • Implement, enforce, and continuously refine processes for capturing and retaining technical requirements, metadata details, security needs, and control evidence for every data product.
