Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Tosca Automation Architect / Tricentis Tosca Architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise-scale test automation solutions using Tricentis Tosca.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Tosca Commander, Tosca Modules, TestCase Design, TestCase Templates, ExecutionLists, Tosca Server, Distributed Execution (DEX/AOS), Tosca API Scan, and Test Data Management. This role will be responsible for defining automation architecture, frameworks, standards, reusable components, CI/CD integration, execution strategies, and automation governance across complex enterprise applications.

The candidate should have experience automating SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, Web, API, desktop, and other enterprise applications, along with strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum, API testing, SQL/database validation, and DevOps practices.

Required Qualifications / Must-Have Skills
  • 8–12+ years of overall QA, Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Test Automation experience.

  • 6+ years of strong hands-on Tricentis Tosca experience preferred.

  • Strong expertise in Tricentis Tosca / Tosca Automation.

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Tosca Commander

    • Tosca Modules

    • TestCase Design (TCD)

    • TestCase Templates

    • ExecutionLists

    • Tosca Server

    • Distributed Execution (DEX) / AOS

  • Configure and manage Tosca Server, Tosca Commander, Distributed Execution (DEX/AOS) and related environments.

  • Define test execution strategies for multiple environments, test cycles, and parallel execution requirements.

  • Implement CI/CD integration with platforms such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar DevOps tools.

  • Integrate Tosca with enterprise CI/CD and execution mechanisms, including Tosca Execution Client, Tosca Server Execution API, and execution-grid capabilities where applicable.

  • Design and implement API automation using Tosca API Scan for REST/SOAP and OpenAPI/Swagger-based services.

  • Define and implement test data management, data-driven testing, and reusable test data strategies.

  • Establish Tosca automation design and development standards and perform technical/peer reviews.

  • Analyze application architecture and identify appropriate candidates for test automation.

  • Lead automation feasibility assessments, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and framework enhancements.

  • Perform Tosca upgrades, migrations, environment configuration, and infrastructure improvements.

  • Integrate Tosca with qTest, Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, and other enterprise testing/ALM platforms.

  • Monitor automation execution and perform failure analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

  • Optimize automation suites for execution speed, reliability, stability, scalability, and maintainability.

  • Establish automation metrics, dashboards, reporting, and quality KPIs.

  • Lead technical discussions with QA teams, architects, developers, business stakeholders, and project leadership.

  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to Tosca Engineers, QA Engineers, and Automation teams.

  • Review automation deliverables and ensure compliance with enterprise QA and automation standards.

  • Support regression testing, production releases, critical deployments, and release validation.

  • Handle technical escalations and provide solutions for complex Tosca automation and test architecture challenges.
