Position: Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $29.00/hr
Shifts Available: 1st shift
Location: Mount Laurel, NJ 08054

What You’ll Be Doing

We’re hiring immediately for Tooling Technician roles in a fast-paced warehouse environment. We’re seeking a hands-on Tooling Technician to support production by ensuring molds and tooling are production-ready, well-maintained, and safely managed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, precision work, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities may include:

  • Clean, maintain, inspect, and store molds and tooling
  • Perform mold changeovers and configuration adjustments per production schedule
  • Troubleshoot tooling issues with processing and production teams
  • Repair and modify molds, jigs, fixtures, and equipment
  • Operate shop equipment such as: Surface Grinder, Bridgeport Mill, Lathe, Sandblast cabinet
  • Communicate with tooling vendors (local & global)
  • Maintain accurate tooling records, PMs, repairs, and inventory
  • Manage tooling supplies and spare components to minimize downtime
  • Help develop and document tooling changeover and assembly instructions
  • Train production staff on proper tooling care
  • Propose continuous improvement ideas (minimum 3 per year)
  • Follow and promote all safety standards
  • More duties may be assigned upon hire.

What You’ll Need

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 1+ year of tooling, molding, or manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read: Blueprints and instructions
  • Micrometers, calipers, and measurement tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Valid forklift license required
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb regularly
  • Lift: Up to 25 lbs regularly, Up to 50 lbs frequently, Up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Work around moving machinery in a loud manufacturing environment

  • 1st shift, 7:55am - 4:05am
  • Monday - Friday
