Job Title: Manager of Business Systems and Data
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
Job Summary: The Manager of Business Systems & Data serves as the primary hands-on owner across systems, data flows, and technology vendors. Responsible for executing the business systems and data roadmap day-to-day, this role serves as the connective tissue among operations, marketing, and finance, working alongside executive leadership and a fractional CTO.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Systems Integration & Ownership: Own the day-to-day health and data flow of integrations connecting Salesforce, iClassPro, marketing data warehouse, GA4, and call tracking. Catch breaks early and resolve issues to prevent data quality degradation.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Translate operational, marketing, and financial requirements into system updates, reports, or vendor tasks. Partner across teams on attribution, franchisee-facing systems, and financial metrics.
  • Vendor Partnership: Act as the primary contact for technology vendors. Clearly define data and integration requirements, keep projects on track, and communicate progress to leadership.
  • Data, Reporting & Analytics: Maintain and expand reporting across Salesforce, iClassPro, and BigQuery/dbt. Support campaign attribution, lead quality, and key business metrics.
  • Governance & Quality: Maintain data dictionaries, business logic, system documentation, and data lineage maps. Validate KPIs across source systems and manage cross-system changes safely.
  • Security & Documentation: Maintain standard operating procedures, system inventories, and access records while protecting customer and operational data. Support regulatory consent and compliance requirements.

Requirements:
  • Six to ten years of experience in business systems, marketing or revenue operations, data, or analytics.
  • Experience owning integrations between SaaS platforms.
  • Working SQL knowledge and comfort operating in a data warehouse environment. BigQuery and dbt experience is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with a CRM, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
  • Ability to build, review, and validate reports.
  • Strong vendor-management and coordination instincts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across operations, marketing, and finance.
  • Strong documentation discipline.
  • A security-conscious mindset when working with customer and company data.

Desired Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience in a franchise, multi-unit, or multi-location business.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics platforms such as GA4 and GTM.
  • Experience with call tracking and marketing automation platforms, including Act-On or similar tools.
  • Experience working alongside a fractional or part-time technical leader.

Flexible work from home options available.
