About Recharged

Recharged is on a mission to accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption with the first end-to-end e-commerce marketplace designed specifically for used EV buyers and sellers. Recharged is committed to making electric vehicles more accessible and affordable to consumers, while also serving dealers, fleets, and other companies navigating the transition to electric vehicles.

About the Role

The Title and Compliance Guide will be responsible for processing vehicle title work for both purchased and sold vehicles, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of title processing procedures, excellent organizational skills, possess the ability to solve problems, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Title Processing: Prepare, review, and submit title and DMV documents for vehicles purchased and sold. Ensure all titles are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all paperwork and transactions comply with Virginia state laws and federal regulations. Stay updated on changes in title and registration laws and procedures.
  • Document Management: Maintain accurate and organized records of all title transactions. Ensure that all necessary documents are filed and stored properly.
  • Coordination with Departments: Work closely with the sales team, finance department, and outside agencies to gather required information and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to vehicle titles.
  • Customer Service: Address customer inquiries related to title processing and registration. Provide clear and timely information to customers regarding the status of their title work.
  • Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve any issues or errors related to vehicle titles. Communicate with state and local agencies as needed to rectify issues.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience: 1-2+ years of previous experience in title processing, automotive compliance, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing vehicle titles and registrations is advantageous.

Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dealership management systems.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with customers, colleagues, and regulatory agencies.
