Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Ticket Sales Manager to drive revenue growth for the Gastonia Ghost Peppers. This role is ideal for a self-starter with exceptional communication and leadership skills, passionate about building a successful career in sports ticket sales and contributing to our team's success.
Responsibilities:
  • Generate new group sales through proactive outreach, including cold calling, outside appointments, and facility tours.
  • Manage and lead overall group revenue generation strategies for the team.
  • Prospect and identify new group sales opportunities through cold calling, referrals, and networking events.
  • Schedule and conduct face-to-face appointments with key decision-makers within community and corporate groups.
  • Staff ticket sales tables at games, events, and external networking opportunities.
  • Create, plan, and execute multiple engaging group events on a monthly basis.
  • Consistently meet or exceed all predetermined activity and sales goals.
  • Work all home games to actively support and drive ticket sales initiatives.
  • Accurately update and manage accounts within the Archtics Ticketing System.
  • Embody the core characteristics of a strong sales culture, including superior interpersonal skills, prompt and professional follow-through, openness to new ideas, and consistent enthusiasm.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all internal and external contacts.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative sales culture within the sales team and the entire front office.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sports Administration, Business, Marketing) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven ticket sales experience in a professional sports or university setting.
  • Demonstrated interest in building a long-term career in sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Archtics Ticketing System and Salesforce preferred.
  • A positive attitude, self-confidence, professionalism, resourcefulness, integrity, motivation, and a very strong work ethic.
  • Prior sales experience is required; management experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by the sports schedule.
