Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our team. The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and facilitating offers. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements.
  • Develop and post job descriptions across job boards, social media, and other recruiting channels.
  • Source candidates using online platforms, networking, referrals, and other creative methods.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring teams and provide timely updates to candidates.
  • Manage candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring clear communication and professionalism.
  • Assist in drafting and negotiating offers, and facilitate the onboarding process.
  • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics to improve processes and strategies.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future hiring needs.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Proven experience as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar role.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR databases. Experience with Smartrecruiters is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience recruiting in automotive or trucking industry. High-volume recruiting experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
