Job Title: Correctional Health * Registered Nurse * Mids
Location: Downey, CA
Job Description:
Seeking a Registered Nurse for a correctional health setting to deliver critical care in a secure environment. Ideal candidates have psychiatric inpatient and correctional facility experience.
Responsibilities:
* Administer medications and perform blood draws
* Work every other weekend
* Maintain patient ratios per CA State Law
* Document using Cerner EMR
Contract Details:
* 20*week duration
* 40 hours/week, 5 x 8*hour - Mid Shift
* No on*call duties
* Max RTO: 3 days
Qualifications:
* Active CA RN License
* BLS, Fire Card, MAB/CPI certifications
* 2+ years psychiatric inpatient experience
* Correctional or psychiatric experience required
* Travel experience preferred
Additional Requirements:
* COVID vaccination and booster required
* Scrub Color: Any, Navy Blue or Black preferred
* PPE provided
