EMR, Inc. is seeking a full-time Accounting Administrator for our corporate office next to the beautiful Emerald Coast in Freeport, Florida. 

EMR's construction professionals provide government and private sector customers with an extensive range of services and solutions for projects of varying scope, budget, schedule, and complexity. We focus on providing leading practices for project management, construction techniques, subcontractor management, health and safety, quality assurance and quality control, and other issues affecting construction projects, ensuring that we provide our customers with an interactive approach that minimizes project risk and schedule delays while increasing value and customer satisfaction. 

Tasks will include accounting related duties such as accounts payable, preparing and managing project accounting and invoicing, cash flows, payroll process and financial statements. This position requires the ability to support other corporate functions as well such as proposals/contracts, payroll, estimating, human resources, etc.). This is a full time supporting position in the corporate office. The applicant should be able to perform basic clerical functions as well such as data organization, record keeping, and maintaining paper and electronic files.

Desired Qualifications and Experience: 

Must be a strong and organized leader with proven analytical and problem solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required. Specific requirements include: 

  1. Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, with detailed knowledge of accounting. 
  2. Minimum 2 years experience in accounting required
  3. Minimum 2 years' administrative office support experience 
  4. Extensive computer knowledge and experience with Excel, Word and accounting programs. Construction accounting programs area a plus.

  8.     Experience with Foundation accounting software is a plus
  9.     Knowledge of federal contracting preferred
