BargerGard / Thermoforming Operator
Location: Elkhart, IN
Shift: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM | Monday–Friday
Pay: $19.40/hour

Job Summary
We're looking for a dependable and mechanically inclined BargerGard / Thermoforming Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring BargerGard thermoforming equipment to produce quality plastic parts that meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a BargerGard / Thermoforming Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Operating Thermoforming Equipment: Set up and operate BargerGard thermoforming machines to produce quality plastic parts according to production schedules.
  • Monitoring Production: Continuously monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the production process.
  • Performing Quality Inspections: Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
  • Machine Adjustments: Make basic machine adjustments to maintain product quality and minimize downtime.
  • Recording Production Data: Complete production paperwork and accurately document machine performance, scrap, and production output.
  • Maintaining a Safe Work Environment: Keep machines and work areas clean, organized, and follow all company safety procedures.
In addition, you will assist with material changes, basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and other production duties as assigned.

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn thermoforming equipment.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions.

  • Machine Operation: Ability to safely operate and monitor thermoforming equipment.
