Instructional Assistant 6 hours Range 10 $20.48 - $28.81 Depending on Experience

Testing Coordinator 1 hour  Range 12 $22.58 - $31.78 Depending on Experience

Total hours per day - 7 hours

TITLE: Testing Coordinator


QUALIFICATIONS: 

1. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of both Mac and PC computer systems.
2. Knowledge of Oregon Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (OAKS) program, and Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBAC) preferred.
3. Knowledge of sound, practical office practices.
4. Ability to communicate with students, staff and the public, using tact and discretion.
5. Ability to follow directions, work independently, work a flexible schedule and adapt to a variety of assignments.
6. Must respect confidential information and reports.
7. High school diploma or the equivalent required.
8. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
9. Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.








JOB GOAL: The individual accepting this assignment will perform varied office functions and serve as coordinator for Common Core testing (SBAC), and OAKS testing and
assessments. This position involves tracking of all SBAC and OAKS test results and distributing them to staff members, organizing and coordinating the use of the
computer testing lab and other non-computerized statewide assessments, and tracking of all high school student's progress toward meeting the State
requirements. This individual works closely with students and teachers to make sure the student meets necessary requirements for graduation.



TITLE: Instructional Assistant


QUALIFICATIONS: 

1. Ability to maintain clerical records and filing systems.
2. Ability to make some independent judgments with prescribed policies and procedures.
3. Ability to lead student exercises and activities.
4. Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions.
5. Ability to communicate with appropriate student age group requiring the use of both empathetic and disciplinarian approaches.
6. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, other staff and students.
7. Reasonable knowledge of spelling, punctuation, capitalization, word usage and sentence construction of the English language as necessary to detect and correct basic errors in prepared material.
8. Reasonable knowledge of office practices and procedures.
9. Demonstrated aptitude as necessary to perform duties of a tutorial nature as well as basic clerical tasks.
10. Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with staff and students.
 









Physical Requirements: Working closely with students can be both physically and emotionally tiring. 

May require exposure to adverse weather conditions and noisy work areas.
