Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a BICSI Foreman to join a high-performing team supporting complex low-voltage and communications system installations. This opportunity is located in Chantilly, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to support critical infrastructure projects across government environments. Responsibilities for the BICSI Foreman: * Install communications cabling and equipment in compliance with project plans, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
* Support installation and integration of telecommunications systems including:
* Outside Plant (OSP) & Inside Plant (ISP) Copper
* Fiber Optics
* CCTV systems
* Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
* Structured Cabling
* Perform fiber optic installation tasks, including fusion splicing and OTDR testing.
* Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in field environments.
* Support project teams in delivering complex solutions across multiple industries including federal, healthcare, commercial, and mission-critical facilities.
Required Qualifications for the BICSI Foreman: * BICSI certification required (minimum: BICSI Installer 1 - Copper).
* Manufacturer certifications and/or Fiber Optic certification required.
* OTDR Certification.
* Experience with fusion splicing.
* Demonstrated experience installing telecommunications systems in complex environments such as:
* Federal and government facilities
* Healthcare/hospitals
* Commercial buildings
* Mission-critical facilities
* Strong understanding of telecom systems and industry standards.
Compensation for the Telecommunications Technician Foreman: * Salary range: $38-$50 an hour *Depending on Experience*
