The Assistant Testing Coordinator for Ohio Virtual Academy supports the Testing Coordinator in the administration of state-mandated assessments. Key duties include test site contracting as well as assisting with test scheduling, organizing, student pre-IDs, staff training, maintaining test security compliance, and providing technical support to students/proctors. This position is based out of the Maumee, OH office.

Residency Requirements: Maumee, Ohio. This is an in-office position

The Assistant Testing Coordinator for Ohio Virtual Academy supports the Testing Coordinator in the administration of state-mandated assessments. Key duties include test site contracting as well as assisting with test scheduling, organizing, student pre-IDs, staff training, maintaining test security compliance, and providing technical support to students/proctors. This position is based out of the Maumee, OH office.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assessment Support:Assist in planning, preparing for Ohio state tests

  • Proctoring/Site Logistics:Assist in coordinating in-person testing locations, including logistics for student seating, attendance tracking, and staffing. Coordination of remote testing.

  • Student Support & Logistics:Assist in scheduling students, including those requiring accommodations (IEP, 504, EL), for testing sessions.

  • Technology & Data:Act as a resource for online test platforms, providing technical assistance to students and staff. This includes verifying student eligibility and updating student lists.

  • Security & Compliance:Ensure all state, federal, and school board testing policies are followed to maintain test security, as detailed in the Test Administration Manual

  • Additional administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience in administrative coordination.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with budget-tracking.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prior experience in a testing or education-related field is a plus.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent AND

  • One (1) year of related work experience OR

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience
