What you'll do Run automated testing (setup, configuration of test equipment and run tests) for both Commercial and Government programs. Ad hoc tasks as needed. The day-to-day * Run tests on Viasat products and report results.
* Performing Environmental, RF and acceptance testing
* Assist in building and maintenance of Specialized Test Equipment used in product testing.
* Assist in documentation writing, such as Assembly Drawings, BoM's, Wiring Diagrams, ATP's, etc. What you'll need * 3+ years' experience working in the electronics field
* Proven experience in testing electronic products
* Demonstrated experience in Environmental testing (i.e. TVAC, Thermocycling, etc.)
* Familiarity with common test equipment and troubleshooting methods
* Ability to follow a test procedure and complete necessary paperwork
* Working knowledge of MS Office for documentation creation, and modification
* Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
* US Citizenship required
* Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain when administratively feasible
* Must be located in Tempe, AZ
This role is a weekend Panama shift - 6a - 6p What will help you on the job * Hands-on experience setting up and working with RF and environmental test setups
* Experience using Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, and RF test equipment
* Experience with vacuum chambers, thermal chambers and Watlow controllers Salary range $21.63 - $34.13 / hourly.
