Job description

The Test and Evaluation (T&E) Marietta Test Operations manager is responsible to lead and organize the Flight Test Engineer (FTE) and Flight Test Control Engineer (FTCE) elements for all Marietta Test & Evaluation programs. These elements include test planning, test preparation and test execution of aircraft testing. The Marietta Test Ops manager is responsible for the schedule and budget performance of the Test Operations team including utilization of EVMS.
Must have advanced interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across the LM Aero T&E team and to manage, coach, develop and motivate the Marietta Test Ops team. The Test Ops manager will develop the Marietta Test Ops team's staffing strategy for Marietta programs through collaboration with program management, site leadership, and other T&E leadership teams across LM Aero. The Test Ops manager will ensure that all Marietta programs' requirements are supported for successful execution.
This individual must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and must be able to effectively and calmly interact with other internal organizations, USG customers, and international customers in order to develop and execute a successful test program. Experience effectively interacting with Flight Line Maintenance and Flight crew is required. The Test Ops manager must be able to coordinate with other organizations to ensure the aircraft is properly configured and the test crew is properly prepared and briefed to execute efficient and safe aircraft testing. Must be extremely organized, reliable, and able to successfully multi-task and perform within the high octane, dynamic Flight Test environment.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance
