Job description

Testing Manager

Supervises a team of test specialists and manages complex, state-of-the-art test programs. Translates complex program requirements into testable objectives. Analyzes and recommends test cycle, test plans, security reviews, and detailed test objectives. Manages and works effectively with diverse organizations and personalities to execute a successful test program. Applies complex test methodologies and compensate for limitations and restrictions. Develops overall test strategy to include objectives, methodologies, analysis, and schedules. Independently assess system performance against stated requirements. Applies test discipline to design a thorough and executable test program. Leads analysis efforts to dissect output data, interface with the client, and provide clear results and recommendations. Applies use cases and user stories to create test cases.

Basic Qualifications

  • Five (5) years relevant experience
  • Experience in testing software applications, including system, regression, acceptance, end to end, performance, and automation testing.
  • Experience in an Agile environment. Knowledge of System Operations, Engineering, and DevOps integration.
  • Experience developing and maintaining test cases using designated automated test tools.
  • Must have detailed familiarity with commercial test environments and operating procedures.
  • Experience supervising a team of test specialists and managing complex, state-of-the-art test programs.
  • Experience translating complex program requirements into testable objectives.
  • Experience analyzing and recommending test cycle, test plans, safety reviews, and detailed test objectives.
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
  • Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission.
