An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Test Stand Engineer who will define, install, and operate test rigs on gas turbine engine hardware and subsystems in accordance with local standards.

What you will be doing:
  • Support the design and definition of new test rigs. Test rigs will vary in complexity and application across multiple test stands, and laboratories, and engine programs
  • Responsible for setup and installation of test rigs.
  • Responsible for creating data collection profiles
  • Responsible for safe operation of test rigs and data collection
  • Responsible for raw data interrogation and troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for repair and maintenance of test stand and laboratory spaces, including preservation.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 3 + years experience OR
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 1+ year of experience OR
  • Master's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology OR
  • JD/PhD
  • Must be a US citizen to be considered for this role

Preferred Requirements:
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated mechanical and electronics troubleshooting experience
  • Fundamental understanding of data acquisition and instrumentation functionality
  • Demonstrate written and oral communication to a variety of audiences
  • Strong documentation skills and procedural improvement & compliance
  • Efficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Experience with National Instruments LabView
  • Experience with hydraulic control equipment
  • Experience with fundamental mechanical or material testing
  • Experience with design of experiments and control of variables
  • Experience with gas turbine engines, and gas turbine engine hardware
  • Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) license would be preferred
  • Flexibility to adjust job assignments depending on priority and program demands
