Job description

Job Title

Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years of manual testing experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading 3-5 testers
  • Create and modify test plans
  • Provide estimates for system setup and configuration, manual test creation, execution time and hardware resource requirements
  • Create and execute manual tests; assist in defect verification and management
  • Perform regression test
  • Stage/set-up test environment including hardware and software installations.
  • Manage test equipment inventory (Toshiba and Clientโ€™s), track assets, coordinate with manager to acquire additional equipment.
  • Manage priorities and test activities to ensure project test schedules/deliveries are met.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for increasing efficiencies and quality.
  • Communicate closely with the project team on test and defect statuses, delivery risks, mitigation plans, etc., Provide recommendations to the project team for shipping solutions to clients. Provide input to โ€œGoโ€/ โ€œNo Goโ€ decisions.
  • Participate in client project meetings, provide client on-site support as needed, and work with clients to ensure successful software deliveries.

Required Skills:

  • BA/BS in computer programming with 3+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with test methodologies and SDLC.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies, VersionOne or other Agile project management tools
  • Basic understanding of Linux & Linux filesystem
  • MSDOS-based command line experience. FTP client knowledge
  • Experience setting up the hardware and software for a fully integrated test environment.
  • Able to read, write and speak English proficiently and be an effective verbal and written communicator.
  • Able to present statuses in a clear concise manner to management and clients.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with external clients
  • Experience testing API testing using Postman, Swagger etc.
  • Test Automation experience (Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG)
