Position Description:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in using standard electrical test equipment and hand tools as well as basic computer skills.
  • Connect, power up, and test multiple vendor commercial UPS systems, following proper procedures for each different system and adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Possess good mechanical aptitude, willingness to follow specific instructions and learn quickly.
  • Familiar working on 208 and 480V systems.
  • Board level component repair is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Industrial electrical/electronic experience preferred.
  • New electrical/electronic graduates urged to apply.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with digital or analog electronic circuit testing desired.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with lab tools and test equipment desired.
  • OSHA, ongoing training and role specific training will be provided.
  • Background Check
  • UPS, Rectifiers, Inverters testing experience preferred.
  • Position is 100% on-site at DC Group headquarters in Minneapolis.
  • Full-time position, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Test and evaluate electronic and electro-mechanical components for multiple vendor commercial UPS systems
  • Testing to support component failure analysis, testing to verify proper operation of spare parts.
  • Complete test verification documentation accurately and honestly.
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with DC Group team members.
  • Interface with inventory, technical, and operations team members to ensure smooth workflow and quick resolution to issues affecting production.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties that may pertain to the warehouse.
