Job description

Position Description: Purpose
Test Conductor 1 shall be responsible for conducting vehicle level tests and reporting results. Test Conductor will lead a team to execute field tests and troubleshoot issues.
Essential Functions
? Learn customer test objectives, ensure test objectives are well defined, and communicate objectives to test team
? Lead a team of vehicle operators and test assistants to safely execute field tests and ensure test objectives are achieved
? Programing and operation of Guided Soft Targets and other collision avoidance test equipment
? Basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, car, test execution issues and escalate accordingly
? Communicate test progress and status
? Escalate all safety concerns

Other Duties and Responsibilities (Non-Essential Functions)
? Travel to off-site customers and test locations.
? Analyze test and scenario data once tests are complete
? Communicate test plans, proposals, non-conformances, and project status to internal and external customers
? Assist test engineers and technical operations in accomplishing project tasks
? Make technical decisions with assistance
? Present proposals and report test results before customer representatives
? Support the program planning, logistics, and scheduling processes as required to enable effective and efficient system test and integration
? Identify and implement improvements to existing workflows and test procedures
? Maintain dashboards to display results and status. Generate and present concise test reports highlighting areas of strength and weakness.
? Support TRC Inc.’s Quality and EH&S (Environmental, Health, and Safety) efforts
Qualifications
? Associate’s degree or equivalent technical experience is required
? Basic understanding of data acquisition systems and instrumentation
? Excellent organizational and communication skills
? General knowledge of computers including word processing and data analysis software
? Ability to write technical reports
? Basic project management skills
? Flexibility with work hours during busy test periods.
? Ability to work overtime is required
? Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed ? Ability to travel (20%) is required
? Ability to complete and pass all internal, position specific job and safety trainings required
? Valid state DMV issued or valid foreign country issued driver’s license
Working conditions
· Standard office, climate-controlled environment
· Some travel is required
· May be exposed to temperatures below 0 degree and above 95 degrees
· May be exposed to inclement weather
· May be exposed to hazardous chemicals, such as gas, oil, and paint
Physical requirements
· Ability to move objects weighing up to 25 - 50 pounds
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time
· Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
