Job description

What to Expect TheSTARTprogram is a 16-weekintensive EV servicetraining program designedfor those withexistingautomotive experience. During the program,candidates will develop technicalexpertiseand earn certifications through a blended approach of in-class theory, hands-onlabsand self-paced learning. Candidates will strengthen theirsoft skillsthroughteam-based repair practices.
What You'll Do

  • Dedicate a minimum of40 hoursper week to training, including active participation in service center shadowing for practical experience
  • Engaging in instructor-led training to develop a comprehensive understanding of Tesla vehicles
  • Collaborate within a team environment during both lab and lecture activities
  • Prioritize safety by adhering toestablishedprotocols at all times
  • Maintain organization by ensuring proper tooling management
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet weekly curriculumobjectivesand deadlines
  • Uphold a consistent and professional rapport with instructors

What You'll Bring

  • Attend and pass each of the 16-week training sessions with an 80% or higher GPA
  • Validdriver'slicenserequired,and must be capable of reporting toboth theSTART training location and local service center
  • Must be willing torelocateupon successful completion of the program and accept employment at a Tesla Service Center within30 daysof graduation from the program
  • Ability tolift upto 60 pounds
  • Must follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail
  • Be able to work in a team-based environment and have a "safety first" attitude
  • Familiar understanding of the English language, basic computer skills, including navigating web browsers and using standard applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
