Job description

Base Location: City of Industry, CA

Travel Territory: Arizona, Utah, and surrounding regional markets

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee fast-paced commercial and industrial construction projects, with a primary focus on Tesla Service Centers and Amazon Fulfillment Centers. This position will be based out of City of Industry, CA and will require regular travel throughout regional project markets, primarily Arizona and Utah.

This role is ideal for a hands-on superintendent who is comfortable traveling, managing multiple stakeholders, and leading field operations on high-profile, schedule-driven projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for maintaining jobsite safety, coordinating subcontractors, driving schedules, managing inspections, and ensuring each project is delivered on time, within scope, and to client standards.

Requirements

  • Experience managing fast-paced projects with aggressive schedules and high client expectations.
  • Strong ability to coordinate subcontractors, inspections, schedules, and jobsite logistics.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality control, sequencing, and field coordination.
  • Comfortable traveling regularly, primarily throughout Arizona and Utah.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software preferred.
  • Preferred Experience
    • Ground-up commercial or industrial construction experience.
    • Experience with sitework, concrete, structural steel, MEP coordination, fire/life safety, paving, and final turnover.
    • Prior experience working on repeat-client or standardized construction program projects.
